      Snort Base: 2.9.1
      pfsense 2.0 Full Release i386

So I updated to 2.0.1 and than  to 2.0.2

In 2.0.1 under AC-STD memory usage was around 30% - all working ok everything was fine…
In 2.0.2 under AC-STD memory usage is over 75% - Not good! what changed?

Just updated several 2.0-RELEASE (amd64)  boxes here and memory usage is the same as it was pre-upgrade.

Try to resintall from 2.0.1 to 2.0.2, no alert was generated.
          I did the following:

          • remove 2.0.2

          • install 2.0.2

          • Services: Snort: Global Settings / Save

          • Snort: Interface Edit: / If Settings / Save

          • Services: Snort: Updates / Update Rules

          Now alerts are generated  :)
