      lot off people have this problem: few days after install, it's getting slow
      my question is
      1-why pfsense become slow?
      2-Do you have any Precaution to overcome this problem?
      3-I dont want that my pfsense become slow so suggest me that i should use squid or varnish

        They are different beasts for different purpose.

        Depending on your scope each has its values.

          Varnish was designed for reverse proxy, but can be used for proxy. it is fast on both situations

          Squid was designed for proxy use, but can be used for reverse proxy. It has many features, but is not that fast.
