Pfsense bootup with ataidle package
My pfsense's hard drive was constantly parking its head, so I use the ataidle package to stop it from doing that. The command I am currently using is "ataidle -P /dev/ad0", which works great, but I found out that I have to enter this command everytime I rebooted pfsense.
This lead my questions:
1. What config file in pfsense do I need to put the command in so that it get execute everytime pfsense bootup?
2. Can I put the command as shown above in that file or do I need to modify it in some way?
1. Download package called shellcmd
2. no you don't have to edit
Or you may need to use early shell command if it's doing it right away. (unlikely!)
Thanks for the info! I think shellcmd is probably the best choice.
