      Hi All
I've been doing some research on this but haven't found an answer yet so let me ask. I have pfsense 2.0.1 and I have squid installed and doing transparent proxying. I installed squid because I want to limit bandwidth to certain sites and it works fine. However, I also want to use the firewall to schedule when some clients can access the internet. I remember reading that squid isn't subject to firewall rules so I need to use a floating rule. Is that correct? If so, could someone please provide a quick example to show how this could be done?

      Thanks in advance.

I think squidguard will do schedules the way you need.
