Cant get to work DHCP Server Option "Domain Search List"
-
2 years ago, I had a issue, that the "Domain Search List" in the DHCP options seems not to work for me:

Maybe i have to put in in wrong syntax - don't know?! Today i installed my pc again, and want to try it again. And it fails again … same like 2 years ago. I found a other, newer posting of somebody, who has exactly the same problem:

Ok - for now i solved it like 2 years ago: I'd setup the search List on every Client. But of course it would be nice to have a centralized "Domain Search List" which will be deployed by the DHCP Server.
Any suggestions whats going wrong here ... or jas anybody got this working?

Did you tried to include this on dhcp options?

Interesting story! But anyway - as i understand, the problem is in the DHCP Server of Windows which is normally not capable to deploy the DomainSearchList …
... but I'm using DHCP Server of pfSense with Windows Clients! My Problem is, that if i use the DomainSearchList option inside the DHCP config, the client doesn't inherit the settings made there.
