      Hi

      My pfsence is now :

      2.0.1-RELEASE (i386)
built on Mon Dec 12 18:24:17 EST 2011
      FreeBSD 8.1-RELEASE-p6

When there is a new version, can I then change the Default Auto Update URL to use AMD64 version and then do upgrade and change from i386 to AMD64?

Is there any advantage? (using cpu: Intel i3, got 4GB ram)

The best way to moving from i386 to amd64 is a xml backup restore on a new install.

        Backup pfsense XML
        Install pfsense amd64
        Install packages you use
        Restore your backup

I understand a clean install is always the best, but is it possible todo it from the update function without a total crash?
