    I installed BETA2-BUGVALIDATION4 (upgrading beta1) but I have 2 problems:

    • BIG problem… I can't go out to the internet.

    • I receive this error in log:
php: : There were error(s) loading the rules: /tmp/rules.debug:72: syntax error pfctl: Syntax error in config file: pf rules not loaded - The line in question reads [72]: pass in quick on (xl0) inet proto tcp from any to (lo0) port 21 keep state label "FTP PROXY: Allow traffic to localhost"

Yeah, I got the same error, so generation of rules is broken –> no traffic, except of LAN-If

I think, its the last change to /etc/inc/filter.inc, V 1.575.2.76

For now, I reverted to BUGVALIDATION3 - so everything works fine again...

Where did you find beta2-bugvalidation4 ?
It's not on the mirrors and it hasn't been officially announced, has it?

It has been pulled and is no longer available due to these problems.

Just as an aside: I also managed to grab aforementioned image before it was pulled, however it seems to be fine here!

I installed it as an upgrade over a fresh fully installed PREBETA2-BUGVALIDATION3 (not an upgrade…) And all seems to be functioning normally so far.  :o

@RDS_Correia: What do you want to predicate?

I REALLY know that these PRE…XXX-images aren't official Updates, nevertheless I'm interested in testing particular improvements as soon, as I can get them. And there are other users too, using these Images. So I think, it's ok to inform in this forum about running into problems with these images. Don't you think so?

I haven't posted to blame Scott, or any of the developers.
