Second subnet on 2 Node Carp setup
-
All, I am looking at adding a second subnet for some legacy equipment that I can not port the IPs of
I want to add a second subnet to the LAN interface
I tried adding a IP Alias of say 192.168.5.1/24 which goes on just fine
I then add IP alias on node 2 of 192.168.5.2/24
Also works,
When I go to add a carp of 192.168.5.254/24 it drops the master as the backup and shows the carp as INIT for 192.168.5.254 but it is accessible
Just wondering if anyone has any feedback on what I might need ot adjust for this to work correctly.
Regards
James
