Is it possible to force pfSense do not clear logs at reboot?
From some time my firewall crashes for unknown reason. I have logging machine but it seems to be that the crash reason do not log, maybe it is too late, machine stops responding and can't send log.
regards

Not that I'm aware of.

The chance of getting anything useful from the system logs for a crash is remote at best.
What kind of crash are you seeing?

the problem is that the firewall is standing about 60 km from my location…. and I have to reboot it remotelly asking somebody for help..
I don't have possibility to watch the screen or logging to shell..
Last time when system hangs, everything seems to be ok. it was possible to access console and reboot by pressing 5 but there was do not additional informations on the screen.. Maybe WAN interface failed.. but I do not now.. I can't diagnose problem directly... It will be helpfull to watch logs after reboot...Michael
