      Dear all,

      Could somebody advise me about SquidGuard vs. DansGuardian regarding to performance and stability?
      Which one is 'better' to use. When using Squid-Reverse as the proxy I assume SquidGuard is smoothly integrated, is it not?

      Thanks in advance,
      Canefield

        Both are stable and used toghether with squid.

        Squidguard has a time based acls and dansguardian has content filtering.

        If you need acl wih dansguardian, you can do this on squid.

            Not at all. I'm using it in production with more levels without issues.

            dansguaridan + squid works fine

            A complex setup I could get working was:

            squid_with_kerberos_auth_and_no_cache  –> dansguardian ---> varnish ---> squid_cache
