      Hi,
      I'm looking build the pfsense in a jail environment. Have some updated jail patch to use in FreeBSD 8 or 9 ?.
      Better if is without esxi, xen, vbox and etc.

        I haven't seen any updated patches, though someone (I don't recall if it was here on or twitter) mentioned building in a jail successfully recently.

        I find VMs to be perfect for that though. I have virtualbox on my FreeBSD workstation and it works great to run builder VMs and VMs to test images.

          I try to get updated patch to newer versions of FreeBSD.
          Here worked fine, but without the jail_billm_mount_enable="YES" line mentioned in wiki devel page.

          If somebody want test, here is the files.
          Remove .txt letting .diff extension.
          The patch file have to be in /usr/src and patch < pfsense_jail_builder_x_x.diff

          pfsense_jail_builder_8_3.diff.txt
          pfsense_jail_builder_9_0.diff.txt
