The insternet is running very slow

I just got comcast internet installed last week. I installed pfsense on an old computer 1.7 celeron with 2 gb of memory.  I have to two gigabyte nics in the computer. I am using the onboard nic.  I have two different networks.  I have a 192.168.15.0 network and 10.0.0.0 network.  The 10.0.0.0 network, I can ping the netowrk card. The internet is so slow it remind me of dial-up.  the picture on the web page come in a line at a time.  Can some one give me some advice.
