      hi
      i have pfsense and 100 host on the lan and i have limit quota to each host as 500MB per day
      and i have a local server which has films and mp3 and shuch data i want to broadcast to my network with high speed
      i want to make pfsense not count  the data to host who broadcast files from this local server and count the data from internet and count this from his quota

        Traffic within the local network, if it's a single subnet, doesn't touch the firewall and hence it won't count it.

            A single subnet is all computers which are able to talk to each other without going through a router.

              SO IF MY LAN NETWORK IS LIKE THAT 192.168.1.0/23
              AND MY SERVER IS IN THIS RANGE IS OK OR IT MUST BE /24
