      Good day to all I'm new to PC routing and I got a little knowledge about networking
      I got an prob when playing online games and someone uses the streaming websites ( youtube  ) or facebook games

      My network
      *Pc router P4 3.0 lga 775 1gig ddr2 2 gigabit lan 160gig sata hdd
      *Dlink 8port gigabit
      *5 computers linked
      *3.5mbs downstream 1.2 upstream static ip
      *no wifi

      My Online games
      *World of tanks ( regular ms 22-30 when youtube on 999ms)
      *Warcraft 3 frozen throne ( via Garena and something like that )

      could someone help me please I quite a noob at this things

        With 3.5mbs downstream its possible your using all of your downstream bandwidth on youtube thus lagging out your gaming sessions. I would do some tests while pinging and browsing youtube and possibly think about implementing some traffic shaping.

            I have the same problem. Do you wanna share how you set up the traffic shaper to work properly? I dont get it of my own to work. Would be nice if you can write up some details.

                If you got the budget get another line and failover it much better than shaping been using it for weeks right know
