This may be a stupid question for some reason but here goes:

We are running Citrix xenserver,  and there appears to be no way of installing a freeBSD based system to run paravirtualised.  It seems to be possible to run just using hardware virtualisation,  but I would be concerned about performance issues.

Centos is fully supported on Xenserver.  Is there any way of installing the pfSense specific packages on an existing Centos environment to convert to a "pfSense-ised" environment?

pfSense is based on FreeBSD and requires the networking tools & technology included in that OS.  There is no way to separate just the UI and make it run on a flavor of Linux (which is completely different from FreeBSD).

        I can break anything.
