Sorry if this is the wrong place to post this.

I'm trying to set up something similar to an "open proxy" I guess. Here's my situation. I have a laptop that my kids share and lately they've been getting infected when they use it in public places like a cafe'. What I'd like to do is be able to connect to the proxy from anywhere, have the traffic filtered, and go back out to the internet. The difference between this and what I've read about open proxies is I want to use authentication (either with whats already built into squid or using captive portal, or maybe even both for extra security).

I got that set up but now I'm having another issue. When I try and go anywhere it brings up the page that I'm not allowed in the acl's. When I try and add 0.0.0.0/0 on the Access control page, it states that 0.0.0.0 isn't a valid CIDR range.
