      how do you add this route in pfsense?

      route add -net 192.168.99.0 netmask 255.255.255.0 gw 192.168.7.5 dev eth0

        Just go on system routing.

        Insert 192.168.7.5 as a gateway and then create a route to 192.168.99.0/24 using 192.168.7.5 as gateway.
