      I used Astaro firewall. It has a very nice log system that updates in real time and shows rules that allowed or blocked . It shows passed as green highlight and not passed as red with the rule number. I wished it has the rule name that was given not a number .  Wonder if my favorite firewall (and I tried many) will incorporate feature similiar for the logs.

        Of course what I love of your list is the quick way to add a rule from it. This was a list that was pulled up but can't edit on it.  Maybe something like this to see..  Rule numbers Allowed groups so you could group all of IRC ports all in one group and name it. Then allow that rule … Just ideas.

          I believe we already have a checkbox for autoupdating the firewall rule logs.

          Even a widget on the dashboard too.
