I tried to install the latest snapshot an a Poweredge 860 but it hang at cpdump with 37%. I'am installing it from cd. The 2.0.1 installer works fine. Does anybody has an idea?

@hec:
I tried to install the latest snapshot an a Poweredge 860 but it hang at cpdump with 37%.
For how long? If I recall correctly when I did a fresh install of 2.1 it apparently stalled on some copy at about 38% and I got concerned about it but went away and did something else but when I came back (maybe no more then 20 minutes later) the install had advanced considerably.
My install was on a VIA 800MHz C3 with a solid state disk module. What are you installing on?

Odd. I had to install 2.1 on a PE R310 because anything 8.1-based would hang when it got to copying /usr (37-38%). Haven't seen 8.3 have that issue. I don't recall whether an 860 will boot from USB, if it will, try the memstick instead. And if nothing else, install 2.0.1 and upgrade it.

this happened for me too, but that was during the 8.1 snaps we had still. hah.
I did the trick at the time to install 1.2.3 and then upgrade to 2.0

I tried to install it from usb stick - it hang at 38%. I will try the last way with 2.0.1 and then 2.1.

Ok some things here strange. Update from console to 2.1 failed but from the webinterface is working.
May this be a bug from 2.0.1? Or can this be a bug in 2.1? -
i have the same issue on PE860 stuck at 38%
any solution ?
