      hello yet again!

so its working fine now (router free network wtih WIFI)

the packet shapping seems to be acting… well not up to par but thats for antoehr area...

since my roomate started his torrent program my PF box's CPU went from 3-10 up to 100% and hasn't let up since! (and average ping jumped from 14-27! (very local server)

im running pf 1.1 and heres the box specs:
      pentium 2 450mhz
      192 ram
20GB HDD (did a hdd install (no  cd's for me!!))
      2x 10/100's
      linksys wifi card

while ram is still only at 33% (was 28% when no activity)

is my CPU too slow for this app?

      (i think i have a P3 550 i can drop in)

How much bandwdith do you try to push? How fast is your internetconnection? Sounds like you are reaching the limit of your current box.

We need a top under high load. If it happens again run top again and paste it here.
