    Hi all,
I'm needing to install ocs inventory agent in pfsense.
I've added the freebsd repository in a variable:

    setenv PACKAGSITE ftp://ftp4.freebsd.org/pub/FreeBSD/ports/i386/packages-8-stable/All/
    pkg_add ocsinventory-ng-2.0.4

He starts to install, just asking to get the package "perl 5.12.4_4"!

Is it okay to force that package to be installed?

    Sorry for my english  :D
    Regards,

8-stable is a lot newer than 8.1 which pfSense 2.0.x is built on.
      You should use: ftp://ftp-archive.freebsd.org/pub/FreeBSD-Archive/old-releases/i386/8.1-RELEASE/packages/Latest/

Do you need that specific version of ocsinventory? The version in the 8.1 archive is 1.02.1.

      Steve

        Hi Steve,

So I tested the URL you sent me, but he now calls perl-5.10.1_1.
My pfSense that is running is 2.0.1 i386
        command in CLI: uname-r
        8.1-RELEASE-p6

        Regards
