(Solved) VIP/CARP OpenVPN

Hi All,

ill have a strange problem with openvpn on Virtual IP Addresses
The openvpn site-to-site link comes up and is oke, ping works but many losses. (not stable) the connection stays up.

When i activate the same configuration to the default WAN address it works fine. pings fine no losses.

hope someone have an idea.  :D

That almost certainly indicates you have intermittent connectivity in general on the CARP IP for some reason. Could be an IP conflict, amongst other possibilities. Test connectivity in general to the CARP IP.

Yes it was a buggy carp address indeed. Thanks!
