Hello, I would like to create local mirror of all packages LAN to do some tests on BGP, OSPF, VPN.. in VMs. These VMs will not have Internet access, so they are unable to download additional packages.
I see also very long time response inf HTTPS/HTTP panel while it's unable to resolve DNS names (for example NTP default server).

        You mean pfSense packages?

          Well, yes.
I do know nothing about Lighttpd server, so I would like use Apache.
So I see I just need these 2 lines:
          git clone git://github.com/bsdperimeter/xmlrpc-server.git pfSense
          git clone git://github.com/bsdperimeter/pfsense-packages.git packages

          to create local repository.

I did this on a FreeBSD 8.1 server and had to install and tweak a load of stuff to get this working but if you already have a functioning Apache server then you may need only the two lines you mentioned.
Make sure you test it as shown.
