Assign OpenVPN interface in the interface tab?

Im using

Embedded 2.1-DEVELOPMENT (i386)
built on Fri Apr 20 22:46:42 EDT 2012

I cannot assign ovpnc2 using the interface tab this is normal?

I, too, am experiencing this on the non-embedded version.  Sorry I don't have a solution!
