      Hi all
Is there a timeline for adding CLI to pfsense?
Will there be a command line interface for pfsense 2.1?
for example , to create  ipsec vpn :

set vpn ipsec shared Key ...

if no, what is the best way to add command line interface with some standard commands? is there any software package for this purpose?

No plans to ever create a CLI. Manually editing XML or tying into our PHP would be the way to do that programmatically.

You can do quite a lot via the PHP shell.
Of course you can also really break things.  ;)

a CLI that had predetermined php shell commands would be nice. Kinda old school, but would be handy in a pinch.
