      I have pf 1.3 BETA, installed Snort, maked some changes to crtontab, make reboot, But I don't see any more Snort as well an my crontab changers.

      what happend ? how to resolve it ?

          Crontab items are generated by the config.xml with the new versions. Download the config.xml, edit the cron-section at the bottom (add your additional items there) and reupload it again.

                Crontab items are generated by the config.xml with the new versions. Download the config.xml, edit the cron-section at the bottom (add your additional items there) and reupload it again.

                I have changed /conf/config.xml via Diagnostics: Edit File, saved, but after reset again config.xml is changed !

                  use backup to get the confix.xml file
                  make youre chanches then use restore to get them in to pfsense
                  and they will survive a reboot
