When trying to use the automatic update, I am getting this message:

This image is not digitally signed.

Is this an error at my end, or is it correct? The udate can not continue after this point and I want to be very sure the update is ok…

    Regards,

    Svein

      pfSense version ?

If you are in 2.1 Development, snapshots are NOT digitally signed, you should check "Allow auto-update firmware images with a missing or invalid digital signature to be used."

Sorry! (beating head) - we are using 2.0 right now dated Sep 13 2011.

And yes, I know that function, but did not think it would apply in this case.

        –-----------

A new version is now available

        Current version: 2.0-RELEASE
Built On: Tue Sep 13 17:28:43 EDT 2011
New version: Sat May  5 19:55:01 EDT 2012

To Update from 2.0 Release to 2.01 Release, you shoud use this URL: http://updates.pfsense.org/_updaters

Or you can download the Signed Update IMG from any of the Official mirrors: http://www.pfsense.org/mirror.php?section=updates

That, of course, fixed it. Thank you!

It is weird - I have no idea why it was set to snapshots - it is a setting I never changed. Maybe because I set this up before the final release of 2.0?

Anyway - problem solved. Again - thank you!
