Hi all, i'll explain what i am trying to do. I have pfsense setup and running in a virtual machine with 2 nics. One is a wan port and the other is a lan port. An access point is connected to the lan with captive portal enabled and working. I also have a webserver running on the same pc. What i want is when i client connected to the access point connects to the network, he is directed to the webserver without going through the portal. If he click on a website other than the webserver, the portal should come up with username and password. Is this possible with pfsense and can a noob like me do it?

I have not done it but I know with the Captive Portal you can put an IP address in the "Allowed IP address" tab and it will allow access without going through the portal.  I don't know if you can force someone to go to it though, it would probably have to be requested by their browser.
