Then i write one of this at that wan interface  prompt it still doesnt accept. And i cant go on and complete the installation. So what can be bthe problem?

First thought, the interface names are all lower case letters so it will be: ie0 or ie1.

Second thought, the ie(4) interface is ancient and slow though probably compatible with almost anything. Can you not get vmware to present some other type of NIC?

        Steve

It's not ie it's le (lower case L). You should only use e1000 type NICs in VMware though (which are em).
