High cpu load in KVM (proxmox 2.1)?

Hello, im a pfsense newbe and i experience a really high cpu load on pfsense 2.01 compared to a ubuntu linux running shorewall?

When maxing out my 100/100 feed the KVM pfsense guest shows 50-100 % cpu utilization.
Doing the same test via a ubuntu/Linux guest the cpu reports about 10-15% at full speed.

I have read similar reports around this forum but found no solution.

Any one got a clue on how to solve this?
