      Trying to install Pfsense 2.01 on a HP DX2000 and get the following error scrolling the screen every 10 secs:

      "acpi_tz0: _TMP value is absurd ignored (-270.3C)"

      Disabling ACPI in a conf file is a work around but I would like to have this working full on my UPS.
      Looking for advise.

      Thanks
      Paul

        This is probably due to an error in the acpi table in the bios, it is indicating a sensor at an incorrect location hence the bad value.
        You should first check to see if a newer bios is available.
        Alternatively it may be possible to disable parts of acpi by adding:

        debug.acpi.disabled="thermal"
        ```to /boot/loader.conf.local
        Though I've never tried this myself.
