Scenario: DHCP on pfsense, DNS on Sles/OES11. When a workstation registers with DNS it is updated under the domain as we temorarily allow machines to register themselves, the reverse record is never created though. It is supposed to be done by the DHCP server, but it never happens. The error message in the pfsense dhcp log is:

Unable to add reverse map from

: Not found.

When this happens we see no incoming activity on the dns server from the pfsense server's address.

      Any ideas?
