I am currently using a JIMP nanobsd image with an IPv6 tunnel. I understand that this is a development release and is not typically announced like a normal release would be. My questions are… Am I using an old out of date image? Has a newer nanobsd image with IPv6 features been released? Is this in the normal mainline snapshot for nanobsd? Should I just leave my working system alone?

My current image which seems to work just fine... (earned HE.net sage with it)
      2.1-DEVELOPMENT (i386)
built on Fri Nov 25 17:47:58 EST 2011
      nanobsd (2g)

I did search and attempt  to figure this out on my own. At this point my assumed answer is one of two scenarios. Either the image has not yet been updated and I should leave my system alone. OR The image is readily available in the mainline development snapshot and I could potentially update the system to enable new features....

Thanks in advance for your info.... I do appreciate your time.

Yes there are now official snapshots, we have not blessed a particular one for general consumption though, although we do have fixed a largish list of bugs.

You can find them at http://snapshots.pfsense.org
