      Hello,

      Whe like to enable the captive portal, but somehow it dosn't work.

      we are curently on

      2.1-BETA0 (amd64)
      built on Fri Jun 8 15:37:00 EDT 2012
      FreeBSD 8.3-RELEASE-p2

      within captive portal a added a zone, within this zone i select interface lan, select voucher.
      within vouchers i checked use voucher. next i add some vouchers.

      uploaded images, changed the index page.

      but all users still have free acces !

      what do i do wrong.
      please need urgent help

      When i hit, view current.
      I get the dashboard of pfsense, not my html file.

        Have you installed any 3rd party packages such as Squid ?

        Anyway, based on some testing I did about a month ago with 2.1-DEVEL, it seemed that certain features (e.g. MAC passthrough) were broken.

          It is also not working on the "Fri Jun 1" build so maybe the CP multiinstance patch broke it?

              I confirm captive portal  is not working anymore for me neither. When enabled there are no authentication, captive portal is bypassed.

                The bug report that was opened at http://redmine.pfsense.org/issues/2497 suggesting that the multiinstance patch might have broken something was rejected. But even if it is not the multiinstance patch the Captive Portal has completely stopped working for me and at least a few others. So is anyone willing to look at this?

                  I'm having the same problem!

                  I haven't tried this, but i think i read another thread the other day stating that CP doesn't work if you specify a DNS in the General Setup page, something to do with it has to go through pfsense DNS or it doesn't work!?!?

                  haven't tried this as of yet
