      Hello

I am a newbie on pfSense. I just installed pfSense on a Nokia IP380 appliance. Since I changed the type field in the /etc/ttys from cons25 to vt100 (I need that to invoke programs like vi), I can't read no more the output during the boot process: eveything is written at the bottom of my terminal (minicom) omitting linefeeds, and the screen doesn't scroll.

Once I get the system prompt, after issuing the command "clear", the output of the console is getting back to normal.

I would be very thankful to know how to get a workaround for this issue.

SOLVED: the problem disappeared without me knowing how or why…
