Had to key in the google DNS 8.8.8.8 & 4.4.4.4 manually.
-
how is your internet configured? PPPoE?
-
Yes, ppp0E.

It works fine now on the PC connected to the router. Thx.
But the Dashboard still shows the DNS servers as 127.0.0.1 instead the DNS servers of the ISP.
In additional, the router does not see the DNS.
Why did I said this?
It cannot access the pfsense server to check for the latest update.
After I added 8.8.8.8 DNS, it can check it. -
Have you checked "Allow DNS server list to be overridden by DHCP/PPP on WAN "
Otherwise it would never use those.

It is working after today's firmware upgrade.
I only checked after the firmware upgrade and the box is ticked and it is working fine now. Thx.
