      hello guys need some help. here is what im trying to do
      also i only have two nic on pfsense one for wan one for lan im thinking about adding a vlan to the lan nic all that is fine but what im really trying to do is separate vlan tow lan i dont want them talking to one another thank you in thank you in advance

        You could add another interface to your pfSense and connect one PC to the LAN interface and the other PC to the new interface.

        You will need to tweak the firewall rules on the new interface to specify what accesses you want to allow and want to deny. (The default will be to deny all accesses.)

        To use VLANs effectively you need a VLAN capable switch.

          im working with pfsense dd-wrt in switch mode i know what to do in dd-wrt im not to sure what to do in pfsense ill post back if it works out

            I forgot you just have 2 nics, maybe you could use a usb nic for the third one?
