I've been told by Sprint that the reason my download speed is capped at 130mbps is that I'm roaming onto another provider's network.  I've been trying for hours to find any documentation on how to disable the roaming capability of my Compass 597 modem.  The best I've found is by setting the AT command: ^SYSCFG=mode, order, band, roaming, domain (found at http://3g-modem.wetpaint.com/page/common+AT-commands).  I tried to place this init string "^SYSCFG=16,3,40000000,0,4" in the advanced settings of the interface without any luck.  The interface will not come up.

Is there a simpler way to set the modem to a 'home only' network setting?
