      Hi,

i am about to purchase this board for a pfsense machine ;)
But before i order it i would like to ask a few questions:

      • 64Bit PfSense doesnt work actually due to problems with the embedded graphics, which will probably
be solved with the upcoming pfsense release, is that correct?

      • Temperature monitoring is currently not supported with the D2500CCE?

      • What outgoing VPN performance can i expect from this little Atom rig especially compared to the
very popular Igel thin clients which have Padlock support. Does the Atom D2500 outperforms Padlock

Thats it for now, thank you :)

I just finished a PfSense box using the D2500CCE. For my home network, it runs great.

I used the 32Bit version and I had the graphics bug.  But if you've done a few installs, it shouldn't be a problem.  The D2500CCE only supports up to 4GB of RAM. Getting a 64Bit version wasn't too high on my list.

        - Temperature monitoring is currently not supported with the D2500CCE?

Temp monitoring isn't in the current package but I think there are a few people working on it. You can do it yourself if you feel adventuresome.

I'm not sure about the D2500 vs Padlock performance.

The core_temp driver should work with the D2500 just the same as any newer Intel CPU.
