I have a netgear router attached on our network which was configured as a wireless base station. It works fine but we want to change our wifi password and I don't know the ip of the device so I can try and log in.

I've checked dhcp lease and arp table and I cant find the mac address in the list. I guess I could hard reset the device but I'd prefer not to if I don't have to.

      Thanks in advance

Install the nmap package, then go to Diag > nmap

Fill in your LAN subnet, pick the LAN interface, select ARP for the scan type, and fire away

Things will only show up in your ARP table if you try to talk to them, so unless you do some kind of ping/arp scan you won't see devices like that.
