      Hi

I'm trying to install pfsense 2.0.1 memstick amd64 onto Intel 330 60GB SSD drive using usb flash drive. I'm using Intel S1200KP motherboard and pfsense install only seens the SSD drive when i set it to IDE mode in BIOS. When in AHCI mode pfsense install doesn't see it and installer tells me there's no drives to install pfsense on. Is there a way to get it to recognize SSD in AHCI mode? What are the advantages of running the SSD in AHCI mode vs IDE. If i can get the AHCI mode to work i guess IDE is my only option. But I see a lot of threads where people use SSD, do they all use IDE mode ?

      Thanks in advance

Try a 2.1 snapshot, it's probably a lack of drivers for that chipset in ahci mode.

          pfSense-memstick-2.1-DEVELOPMENT-amd64-20120702-2135.img.gz recognized the AHCI mode.
