      Hey Guys
I am having problems getting pfsense onto my sandisk 4gb CF that I just bought today at wal mart and I am using a usb card reader and I have I am using physdiskwrite to write the pfsense to the cf but I always get that error message saying "Remove 2gb restriction on it" and I didnt click on it and when I tried to write to the CF I get this "That disk is larger then 2gb <safety overwrite="" check="">Please choose a other disk.." I have downloaded the 512mb on what do I need to do here?</safety>

Since you're using a 4GB card you need to check the 2GB override box. That safety check is there to make sure you don't accidentally write to your hard drive (which is assumed to be larger than 2GB) but as long as you're careful you shouldn't have a problem. Just make sure you select the CF card as the target.

There is no problem using the 512MB image on the 4GB card but you could also use larger images. I would probably use a 2GB image.

You could try using Win32 Image Writer instead.

It can't uncompress the image on the fly though so you need to extract it from the .gz first.
