Just built a new pfSense box with current stable i386 release and got this error displayed in the left panel of the GUI when browsing /snort/snort_interfaces_global.php

Fatal error: Call to undefined function gettet() in /usr/local/www/snort/snort_interfaces_global.php on line 264

Should it be gettext() and not gettet()?

You are right it should be gettext. I changed it in the snort_interfaces_global.php file and snort is now working.

Just to let you know, the same typo is on snort_preprocessors.php

Surprised that this slipped through from the packager.

My box seems to be working now after correcting these typos.

Can some1 let me know which PID is on:
                pgrep: Pidfile `/var/run/snort_pppoe059419.pid' is empty

Since I have no snort_pppoe059419.pid file so I can try to re-create.

Thanks, I hadn't gotten that far into configuring snort yet and hadn't noticed it there as well. Just seen that snort was able to start.
