      Hello everyone

I wonder if someone already tried or know if this PCI modem with Qualcomm MSM9200 chipset, works in pfSense.
I set up a router with pfSense using this card, but I can not find information that can assure me that works.

      Tanks to all

Name of the card? Manufacturer? Link?

        Probably not though.  ;)

Interesting product. I have no idea if it would be supported.
It depends how it is presented to the system. Looking at what info there is it says "NDIS driver for devices based on Windows Mobile 5.0" this implies it appears as an ethernet device. However further down it says "AT commands set", which implies a serial device. If it appears as either ethernet or serial there is a good chance of talking to it from FreeBSD but it may be some completely propitiatory device in which case there is almost no chance. You would have to try and port the linux driver or start from scratch.

There are a number or USB devices which are supported, can you not use one of those?

              Hello

I'd really like to use this equipment, but I have some fear of buying and then not work optimally in pfsense.
But he spoke in usb devices, to which it refers?

                There is a list here:
                http://doc.pfsense.org/index.php/Known_Working_3G-4G_Modems
It is far from exhaustive though.

                  Hello

I understand that there are solutions to this genre, but I need a device which can be connected with external antennas for better signal capture, and also need a device that is very reliable.

                    I can't help you there.
I am lucky enough to live in an area with a choice of broadband suppliers and very good 3g coverage (no 4g in the UK yet). The few times I've had call to use a 3g modem I had no need for an external antenna.

Perhaps someone else can help.  :-\
