Having trouble getting PFSense 2.1 installed/working
I have this the following hardware
http://www.amazon.com/Dual-Core-Embedded-NF96U-525-LF-Motherboard-AD3RTLANG/dp/B0061F5MPG with the Intel 3xNic Card

the USB Drive will boot to the first PFSense screen and I pick option 3 for install from USB but I've also tried option 1 both freeze/stop at the same spot.

trying to boot with USB wrote with DiskImageer, I've tried i386 and amd64 and the nanobsd all of them freeze at the posted screen shot. does anybody have any ideas?

Did you run into the same problem with 2.0.1?

no I only tried 2.1. If I try 2.01 is it easy to upgrade to 2.1?

Check BIOS updates for that board, maybe disable HT?
It seems to stick at bringing up the 4th core. This board should be able to run the 64bit version.

disabled HT and, not sure where to find BIOS updates for this board, having trouble.
tried the 64-bit version and now it stopped at cpu 2 rather than 4

What kind of HDD/SSD is in this? Hard to tell from the dmesg but it looks like there are two USB sticks plugged in (or at least two different devices detected as USB mass storage).

As a test, does it boot any farther if you disconnect the HDD/SSD and only try to boot from the memory stick?

I ran into the same problem with the same motherboard.  I actually accidentallly ran the 2.01 4g nano image first and was able to boot in fully, but I had meant to run the 2.01 memstick image.  I couldn't get the 2.01 memstick to boot at all, it stopped at the exact same point.

However, I was able to boot off the 9/1 2.1 beta.  I've got it currently running with no issues, I would probably start there.

Also, this motherboard doesn't appear to be listed on the Jetway website, no bios upgrades.
