      Dear all,

For some reasons of spam policies I need to customise mail.cf with requirements on following:

      • Disable strict_rfc821_envelopes (for telnet by command)
      • Disable reject_unknown_client_hostname, reject_unknown_recipient_domain, reject_non_fqdn_recipient
      • Enable reject_rbl_client bl.spamcop.net, reject_rbl_client zen.spamhaus.org

Because once I selected "Basic" in the header verification, the RBL feature seems does not work. So, I need to configure RBL in smtpd_recipient_restrictions

I have modifed manualy the mail.cf file but it didn't save after reboot the PfSense box. Aslo, I don't know how to insert on the GUI of request above. I have tried with smtpd_banner, myhostname & smtp_helo_name and they are working well now.

Could you please give me your advice for my requirements above.

Thanks a lot for your support,
      DQM

You may need to change postfix.inc php script that creates main.cf with your changes.

Can you show me how to do it in details, Marcello? I am a Networker not Programer  >:(

          Thank you,

If you do not understand php, then it could not be done. It will be easy to break the script and mess up your pfsense.
