      Does squid stable package work at all in 2.1beta0
      I haven't had much luck, and i wanted to use it in combination with captive portal and squid guard so looking for people who have that working?

        Don't know about squid … but I have been using the squid3 package with 2.1BETA0 and it seems to be working quite well.

          I'll give it a go, thanks for the suggestion - i have used it so much in alpha times of squid3 package so i didn't want to go there unless it was possible.
