Multiple WAN subnets

Right now I'm running a pfSense box in an application that has a /28 mask of IPs. Would it be possible to add another block of IPs at some point down the road if I needed more addresses? What would I do about the differnet gateway for the new block of addresses?

Yes. You don't want the additional block to have another gateway IP, that's wasting IPs. Have it routed to one of the IPs in your existing block.

Not sure I follow… Say I get another block ant would obviously be a different subnet from what I have now and set up the new block with Virtual IPs, how would I route to the existing gateway when they are on different subnets? Wouldn't I need a gateway set up for the new range to get out?

There is no gateway IP from the ISP with a routed subnet, your provider routes it to one of your existing IPs, so you don't waste IPs with an entirely unnecessary gateway IP, and you have more flexibility in how you can use the additional subnet.
