It's a known issue, and it's hardware-dependent, only affecting certain USB 3G/4G dongles. I think there's an open ticket for it on Redmine already.

No any USB dongle, only Intel PCIe Ethernet adapters in my router. Same issue on latest Chrome, so it's a pfSense bug. Should I submit ticket for this issue?

There is already a bug report open.

            https://redmine.pfsense.org/issues/2433

I've never heard of that page locking up on someone that didn't have a modem though, so you may want to add a note onto that existing ticket. You might attach a copy of /var/log/dmesg.boot from your system, and the output of:

            ls -l /dev/cua*

I found a little more info about it and updated the ticket at https://redmine.pfsense.org/issues/2433

The latest versions of the 2.1 BETA Snapshot still has this issue. I am running the AMD64 version and have no 3G/4G Modems, only Intel NICs. The PPP Edit Tab in the Web Configurator Hangs and requires a Restart to get it to work. Is there a NEW revised patch that we can use as a WORK around.

PS. Does this patch package still work for the embedded version of pfsense with NANOBSD?

                  Jacob
