      Hey!

When I reboot from inside Pfsense it wont load my Intel Pro (Quadport) card and pfSense cant identify any network card.

When I "hard reboot" the machine from scratch and can see UEFI/BIOS post screen it loads the NIC and pfSense recognizes it.

Has this something to do with pfSense or with a UEFI setting?

      Thank you in advance.

A quad port card probably involves a PCI bridge on the card. I SUSPECT (I have no experience with UEFI motherboards) UEFI is not correctly re-initialising the bridge and consequently NICs downstream of the bridge are not visible.

You are probably right. I found this option in the motherboards (ASUS P8H77-I) manual:

EUEFI/Legacy Boot [Enabled both UEFI and Legacy]
Enables or disables boot from the UEFI or Legacy devices. Configuration options: [Enable both UEFI and legacy], [Disable UEFI], [Disable Legacy]

I will disable the UEFI boot next time I'm at place.
